So its been a whole week since i went post crazy of my first day of blogging. So whats new... its snowed again.. a lot... United played gash in the 2nd half and lost to everton, which ruined my saturday to say the least as it was the only thing to look forward to on my day off.
Sunday was game day against top of the league and a team that is made up of mostly aussies. The game was good, one of our best performances of the season with us winning 3-1. I also scored possibly the best ace i have ever scored in volleyball, basically i served, the ball was going miles out, the libero turned to leave it and the ball hit him in the face. However the win came at a cost to one of my fingers being broken by a 212cm Australian opposite. This meant I got to experience the swedish health care system, which basically meant i sat in hospital for 5 hours for them to bandage my finger. The only highlight was the free biscuits and coffee in the xray waiting room.
Another thing to add to my dislikes is the swedish obsession with liquorice. They have liquorice sweets, drinks, powder that you eat, liquorice flavoured chocolate and liquorice flavoured biscuits. This is just wrong in every way.
Agreed! - liquorice is Not one of my favourite's either.
ReplyDeleteJust a suggestion, but it might be nice to know a bit about your training (like how many hours a day/week?), and about the Swedish league - how many teams, you said yours is fourth, but is that like a man city/tottenham fourth (never going to make it into the top 3!) or like a man u/chelsea/arsenal fourth?
you dont really seem to like sweden?
